Affiliate & Referral Disclosure
Last updated: October 9, 2026
Tiff’s Money Tips is free to read. To keep it that way, the site earns money through advertising and through referral relationships with some of the companies mentioned on the site. This page explains how that works and what it does and does not mean for you.
Referral partners, including ClaimMoney.com
Some articles on this site link to ClaimMoney.com and similar services. Tiffany may receive compensation from these referral partners when visitors click those links, submit information, or sign up. Compensation can be a flat fee or based on activity, and it does not change what you pay. Using a referral partner is always optional.
What compensation does not change
- Compensation does not determine whether you are eligible for a settlement or lawsuit.
- Compensation does not guarantee that you will receive a payment of any amount.
- Compensation does not influence which cases I write about or what I say about them.
ClaimMoney.com is not a court or settlement administrator
ClaimMoney.com is an independent third-party service. It is not a court, a settlement administrator, a law firm, or a government agency, and it is not affiliated with any court that approves a settlement. Its own terms and privacy policy apply when you use it.
You can always go direct, for free
For an approved class action settlement, you can file a claim directly with the court-approved settlement administrator, usually through the official settlement website listed in the court notice. Filing directly is free. Before you file anywhere, please confirm eligibility rules and deadlines on the official settlement website or the court docket. Where I have it, each settlement article on this site includes a verification box with the case name, court, official website, deadline, current status, and the date I last checked it.
Lawsuits, settlements, and attorney case review are different things
An ongoing lawsuit is not the same as an approved settlement. When a case is still being litigated, there is usually no public claim form. Some services and law firms offer to review whether you might have an individual case. Submitting your information for case review is not the same as filing a settlement claim, does not create a settlement claim, and does not guarantee compensation. Each article on this site is labeled with its current status so you can tell these apart.
