Settlements and lawsuits
- Articles describe what has been publicly reported or filed. Allegations in a lawsuit are claims that have not been proven unless a court says otherwise.
- An ongoing lawsuit is not an approved settlement. A proposed settlement can change or be rejected before final court approval.
- Eligibility, deadlines, and payment amounts are set by the settlement agreement and the court, not by this site. Payment amounts are often unknown until all claims are processed.
- Mentioning a case, or showing it as a quiz match, does not mean you qualify. Always confirm eligibility and deadlines on the official settlement website or the court docket before filing.
- Settlement details change. I note a last-verified date on settlement articles, but information may be out of date by the time you read it.
